After discovering that the website that Oxxygen had paid another company for was nothing more than one big image on each page, with hot link areas where the buttons were, they asked us to take their design and build the site properly.

The Brief

Use a supplied design and build a static site taking care to ensure that the menu buttons retained the formation around the main content area. The content of the site needed to fit in the provided content area with out spilling outside of that area.  The cost of the site could not exceed the cost Oxxygen had set with the previous company.

Our Approach

In order for the menu buttons to retain their position irrespective of screen size and dimensions, a different approach was needed when it came to how we developed the site.  We also needed to take into account web standards with respect to development and load time.

Due to the nature and shape of the content area, a scroll function was required. We researched  how to achieve a result that would work across the key internet browsers and load quickly. We discovered a solution, which we implemented with great effect.

Through diligent research, carefully constructed code and image optimisation, 73dpi met the client’s requirements on time and within budget. We also ensured that their site was fully compliant with all web standards and search engine requirements.

What Our Client Said

“For those of us who need support with our virtual world in terms of presentation, look & feel, technical and design I strongly suggest employing the services of Jon Henwood; he delivers on all counts.”
